This Conversion Kit allows you to install a late model (69-87) Chevy 2WD pickup power steering box into your vintage 47-54. Ideal for aftermarket tilt steering columns. Includes all brackets, instructions, and necessary hardware for installation. Power steering box and components are sold separately. Use for our heavy duty tie rod kit is highly recommended (part # 4754TRK). See page 13.

We carry the necessary power components to finish off your conversion. Our high quality rebuilt boxes and pump are backed by a lifetime warranty. We also carry hose kits and power steering pump brackets.

Another one of our trademark upgrade kits, this package comes complete with two custom-made mounting brackets, hardware, and a steel sleeve that will connect the steering column shaft back together after it has been shortened. You can use any 69-87 2WD, 1/2-ton steering box (including the one we offer below), and you'll have to supply your own power steering pump.
